HIKE AT SHELBY FARMS.

The Tiger Den will be hiking their third and last hike at Shelby Farms for their Leave No Trace badges Monday, April 18 at 5 p.m. I'll be sending out an email soon to let you know where we'll be meeting at SF or some of us can meet at the church and ride together. I'll bring some bags for the trash pick up service project. The boys have been doing a great job cleaning up the local trails... and have found some tabs along the way! Way to go, guys!!

Fees are $50 per Scout and $75 per adult. We also need someone to coordinate this event if anyone plans to attend.

MEMORIAL DAY FLAG PLACEMENT.

On Saturday, May 28 there will be a Memorial Day Flag Placement ceremony at 8 a.m. at West Tennessee Veteran's Cemetery. This is a yearly Scouting function and is a very rewarding service project. Scouts place flags near the graves of our country's Veterans before Memorial Day services begin. The cemetery is at 4000 Forest Hill Irene Road.

PAYMENT FOR SUMMER ACTIVITIES.

It was decided at the last leaders meeting that the pack would pick up the cost of the Cub Scout Day Camp in June, or would give $75 towards Summer Camp at Kia Kima (Tigers/Wolves) or Mack Morris (Bears/Webelos) per Scout!
Adults will still need to pay for themselves, but this represents a significant savings to each pack family. More info on these events will be given soon. This is due to the great job everyone did with our fund raising activities last fall.
